This is the needle I use for all my hand applique. It's easy to thread. Fine enough for the most delicate fabrics yet strong enough so it won't bend. I even use them for my hand piecing. I love applique and there's nothing more frustrating than having your pieces shift or get your thread tangled in the pins. Once I tried these pins I was in love with them. 3/4" long with a little white glass head that's easy to see and pick up. 150 pins in a case for you to store them in.
