Assembling this easy whimsical sailboat quilt is as fun as a day at the seaside. Blocks and rows come together without the need to match any seams. Wave blocks are strip-pieced for quick assembly. The sailboat blocks use stitch and flip techniques for the boat hull and for the half-rectangle sail units.
Sail units are intentionally oversized and then trimmed down to size for a perfect fit every time. A paper trimming template to pair with a standard quilting ruler is included. Quilt measures 50.5 in. x 67 in.
