The French Bouquet quilt is a great example of some of the vintage applique quilt patterns presented through the Nancy Page Club during the early 1900's. There are twelve pretty bouquets of flowers like little nosegays. Each bouquet is different and tied with a little bow. In addition to the bouquets there are fifteen designs used in the border of the quilt. Nancy Page felt this was the most beautiful quilt pattern she ever designed. I know you'll love it too. Even if you don't make the quilt as designed this is a great collection of classic flower designs that can be used for applique and embroidery. The French Bouquet is made of 15" blocks and the finished size would be 90" x 106" . The pattern includes copies of the original newspaper clippings. Each block has color suggestions and all instructions from the original clippings.
