Each circular design is adapted from old English embroideries of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Many of them were seen at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. The twenty five circular designs measures six inches finished size. After they are embroidered, they are appliqued to your background fabric and a quilting design completes this unique look.
This quilt was designed by Margaret Techy during the early 1930s.
