Octagonal tree skirt pattern with matching card holder.
Machine piece our 3-D "goose sets" to create a tree skirt and/or a Christmas card holder. Tie with an easy knot. Use many red fabrics for a scrappy look. The card holder will display about 75 cards. Easy using a few fat quarters.
This pattern might become a favorite. Not only will you get a beautiful Christmas tree skirt, but a great way to display all those Holiday (or birthday, shower, etc.) cards. Might be fun to make a few: one for the holidays and one with birthday fabric. Or maybe something that matches your decor? Then you can add photos when not used for cards. Would be a great gift set for a wedding shower, too.
