Wild Spring Blooms uses applique to create a beautiful mix of large and small flowers from solid or patterned fabric. This pattern is perfect for all types of applique methods, machine, raw edge, and needle-turn. This pattern has the instructions for all three including the quick modern faux applique method using interfacing to secure the applique pieces and then sewn into place by machine. This quilt is a perfect use of scraps or your stash of favorite fat quarters with the maximum size needed for a single large flower being a fat quarter. The quilt has instructions for a Baby, Large Lap or King size quilts. The quilt is constructed in manageable size blocks and comes together quickly.
I am in love with these beautiful spring flowers. The finished size is 12 1/2" x 14" . The picture shows this made with 100% felted wool but wool felt can be easily substituted for any or all of the wool requirement.
