I do quite a bit of foundation paper piecing and applique. I like to have an iron right by my sewing machine but my full size iron is just too big. The answer? A travel iron. I can use it next to my machine and then easily take it to classes and quilt retreat. I've tried quite a few and have found there's nothing worse than an iron that isn't hot enough. This one is great!
