Each year I offer a summer project to honor the National Cherry Festival which takes place each July in Traverse City, Michigan.  It's the cherry capital of the world.

This year I'm doing something a little different and hope you'll join me for the next 18 weeks while we make the Simple Summer Sampler! This 50 block quilt not only reflects the red and green of sweet and tart cherries but the white blossoms of their trees in spring time. A blue and white quilt could represent the TC's winter wonderland and a scrap quilt shows the wonderful blend of people who visit this region each year. Make the quilt your own!

  • One time sign up fee of $15
  • 50 pieced blocks inspired by an antique quilt - finished size 79" x 94"
  • Begins on Thursday July 6, 2017  for 18 weeks
  • This is a mystery project - see rules below.
  • After your paid sign up you'll receive an invitation to join the Facebook Group.
  • Sign up closes on July 1

Patterns will be posted in the files of the Simple Summer Sampler Facebook Group. No printed paper patterns will be mailed. If you're absolutely, positively, not a Facebook person, please let me know when you place your order and I'll see what I can do to accommodate you.

*** Because this is a mystery project; by signing up you promise not to share patterns or post pictures of your blocks on any social media (Facebook, Pinterest, Instragram, etc. ) platform, including your blog until after November 1st. I do hope you'll share your blocks as you get them completed in the Simple Summer Sampler Facebook group. It's always inspiring to see everyone's interpretation of a design.
